(50,916 posts)and the posts (many of them) that said "'Believe Women' is ridiculous, and I'm not going to do it any more!!!" and the posts that trashed a woman who gave a very measured and reasoned explanation of the fact that she didn't really want Joe Biden sniffing her hair before she gave a major speech (though she would still vote for him.)
Stopped by once or twice since then, and saw all the, "Joe made a joke about touching women, wasn't that cute?" I found them disgusting.
Stopped in today and saw this little oasis of sanity. Seems there IS a line that even Joe Biden is not allowed to cross.
I'll vote for him if he's our candidate, but the "Joe can do no wrong, and we'll twist ourselves in knots and abandon all our principles in order to support him, and turn on anyone who won't do the same!" position is dangerous and stupid.
Women's rights are human rights. Joe needs to get his head out of his ass. And so does DU.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
