You can decide on a candidate that way, of course. As long as you realize it has nothing to do with which candidate will be the nominee and who will win the GE.

I don't think Biden is inevitable, but close. There isn't anyone else, really, who appeals to a broad swatch of voters. Most of the rest are niche candidates.

As for me, I just require a strong liberal stance on a couple of issues. Biden is not strong on issues...Biden is about "unity" and working across the aisle and making excuses for Repubs who fail to protect America's democracy. Biden likes to be liked. Unfortunately for us, he's likely to be the nominee. But as long as he can beat Trump.... and he is fairly strong on protecting Social Security & Medicare (2 of my key issues).
