Funny how black folks are accused of overreacting and whining when we have to confront very real acts of racism but when a white person is criticized for something having anything to do with race, some people engage in this kind of gymnastic leapfrogging to get them from reasonable criticism to being called a racist in three bounces. Talk about looking for opportunities to play victim ...

No. Being anti-busing isn't being racist. Being racist is being racist. Being anti-busing is being anti-busing.

Several DUers have expressed their opposition to busing on this board tonight. Do you think that means any of them are, by definition, racist? Have you seen anyone here accuse them of being racist?

Just as people say that being accused of being racist shuts down all opportunties to deal with the race issue, being accused of accusing people of racism every time we talk about race is just as, if not more chilling to ever having honest conversations about race.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
