I've recently returned to full time work (my 3rd try) and I'm hoping this time it lasts. Even so, I plan on keeping Medicare and paying for it. It just makes no sense to me that you have to change insurance every time you change jobs. Most of us don't get to work for one employer for 30 to 40 years like previous generations. What if your employer chooses a crappy insurance plan?

I find it humorous that there might be people out there that 'love' their private insurance.

I have VA and Medicare so I have no private insurance to give up. I'm very happy with what I have.
