Are you here to tell me that the Turtle would have allowed Joe to put Garland Merrick on the Supreme Court because he can charm extreme right wingers better than Obama could?
These people are either white supremacists themselves or are collaborators with White Supremacists, to a man, to a woman.
If the country is to be saved we must win the Senate, and talking about dealing with a Senate filled to the brim with racists, corrupt traitors and Ayn Rand type nuts is simply defeatist rhetoric.
Now I like Joe Biden. I really do. But frankly this is poor thinking.
If he wants to be President let him take on the whole task, not just electing himself because he finds some Republicans acceptable and likable, but because he is disgusted by them and works as hard for the Senate as he does for himself.
I'm sorry, but Joe is stuck in the 20th century. 20th century Republicans were not fascists.
21st century Republicans very much are.
