Whoever our nominee is, once the election is won that Democratic Administration will need to spend considerable energy in restoring and repairing before we can ever move forward. The damage is real and if not turned around will be lasting. Every department and agency has been impacted. We've lost scads of professionals, scientists and highly skilled people because of the chaos agents and enablers in the WH. We've lost alliances and friends abroad while empowering despots and tyrants.

The restoration will not be done with a magic wand or incantations. It will require real political and legislative skill to even begin to turn things around. And yes, that means we're going to need some Republicans on board because our system requires bipartisanship to get shit done. The majority of the Democratic electorate realizes this. No one is calling for the surrender of our principles, simply that we work smart in order to be effective.

That 52% in the poll is very telling.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
