In reply to the discussion: 'I don't see any path for Biden to win the nomination without South Carolina' [View all]brush
(61,033 posts)24. Let me re-phrase then. There is little chance Biden won't win South Carolina.
This post is bordering on sh_t stirring. The AA demographic, dominant in Dem circles in SC, is stacked in Biden's favor.
That's just reality but doesn't mean the race will be over. Other candidates will win/do well in other states. Super Tuesday which will follow shortly after SC will include California this year with its huge delegate cache and will be pivotal in who emerges with a lead in delegates. Harris should do well there and will most likely have already done well in SC. Warren's strengths are in other states on Super Tuesday and she will emerge with a sizeable delegate count.
The race is hardly over and Gov. Cuomo of NY is trying to move NY's primary up to Feb. so stay tuned.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

OP
True. I don't get why this OP is here. There is no chance Biden won't do well in South Carolina.

As it stands now, Joe Biden is the only candidate who will win any pledged delegates in SC.

Or your response proves my point...I look at polls...she isn't trending...at 2% in term off AA vote.

This OP postulates something there is no evidence of. There is little doubt Biden will do well in SC

A week ago someone said that Biden couldn't win the nomination without winning Iowa and NH....

As of now he's the only one over 15%, so he will win ALL 54 pledged delegates.
