(71,465 posts)candidates are 'good'. However, it is not about good. It is about fiedling a nominee who can win a purple or red state with a good margin and carry the Democratic candidate for Senator with hin/her. If you run a candidate who is perceived left, they will not win the presidency, and the Senate will remain in GOP hands as well...and I only hope the moderates who gave us the House survive. We need a moderate candidate...not the dream candidate of the left. I don't want to wake up the day after election day in 20 and face the prospect of four more years of Trump. We need three states to win MI, WI and PA. Biden can win those states...and a moderate or a perceived moderate will help in the Senate races too...where as a Warren or a Sanders won't.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
