Democratic Primaries
In reply to the discussion: Only a Biden nomination will allow us to take back the Senate too [View all]I hate to be the grammar nazi here 😉, but as someone who works in the medical sciences (with a biology degree, nursing degree and the son of a scientist), it drives me crazy to see the over and misuse of the term "theory", especially when applied as "conspiracy theory".🤬
What you have at the moment is an idea. To get to the level of an hypothesis, it has to be testable, and your idea doesn't get to that...at least not yet: Collecting enough data from enough elections to put together a workable algorithm for predictive analysis of future elections would be a great statistical challenge, and a way to test your idea, actually).
Theories are hypotheses that have been tested over and over, never having been proven wrong and are supported by mountains of data. They can evolve, but never be wrong.
