Too many people have GOOD insurance through their employer and don’t pay that much for it. Telling people they’re going to give that up for something unknown is a big loser IMO.
I like the opt-out idea. A Medicare buy-in option can be eventually transitioned to single payer. But trying to force it all at once is a bad idea.

If I were to vote in a presidential
