13. I thought Booker could pull it off, but he failed

The overly positive message (which was frequently contradicted by the candidate himself at the debates) just didn't work. What scares me is that, as I type, a handful of people with megaphones (for example, Killer Mike and Shaun King) are blaming all of mass incarceration on Joe Biden. It's crazy! Many young voters are taking their word for it.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
