1. That last paragraph isn't exactly true. In fact, Sanders was at a fundraiser on Tuesday night...

....that was soliciting up to the maximum $2800 when he had his heart attack. He also has a number of "big donors" who contribute hundreds of times so they can keep the "average donation" down yet still contribute the maximum of $2800. The most extreme (from FEC filings) is a woman in Michigan who has given 820 times since March totaling more than $2800 (a few dollars over the legal limit)
