realized Obama was bohrring back in 2008? (Surely not!) He wasn't of course because he was black and inspired over half the nation by being an opportunity for a great advance. But a white Obama's quiet delivery and principled messages would have made a lot of thoughtful people "fall in respect."
Those who need to fall in love, as Doc03's old saying has it, wouldn't have. And way too many in that surge who voted for a black man would instead have sat home on election day, believing there was no thrilling political superstar worth their attention to vote for.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
