(4,479 posts)do what we do too often. Republicans do what they want even if the people don't want it because they exude strength. If we stop the timidity and lean into our true beliefs and sell it, the people will follow because they will see there is reason to hope for better.
The problem is that when some on our side start using Republican talking points to go against policies that saves lives or make people's lives better because "funders" don't like it, we are fighting a multifront war. That only happens if we don't exact a price on those not going against the real polled will of Americans.
Let's get busy and lean in with passion and conviction.
I wrote this article a while back and I think the Democratic Leadership would do well to read it. Donald Trump went to visit "Black People" in Georgia this week and was summarily mocked by our Liberal Elite. Not so fast. A party seeking status quo out of "fear" presents the same danger to the aggrieved as the one purported to aggrieve. And when the aggrieved decides to be transactional all are up for grabs. This applies to women, and to many other demographics.
