where a sufficiently large number (though not a majority, of course, as we are obligated to parse the language) of Americans would vote for Trump -- except unlike Trump he's (probably) actually got the massive Scrooge McDuck vault of gold to swim in (that difference does not actually matter to voters, it seems).

Bloomberg embodies enough neo-liberal economics to lose the democratic-socialist voters, enough law-enforcement-racist-behavior-enabling to lose non-white voters, enough indifference-to-climate-caused-famine-half-a-century-hence to lose young voters, and of course is from NYC so will categorically turn off people from "fly-over" states just by virtue of being from the place they imagine thinks they are "fly-over" even if he's never said anything of the kind... etc.

What could go wrong?
