49. Since "legalization" here in CA a lion's share of the business is made up of criminal enterprises...

that do not collect taxes and that sometimes do--and sometimes do not--conform to the laws about selling to minors.

Believe me when I tell you that high schooler know which delivery services will have a vape pen at their meeting spot in minutes, no questions asked. Cash transactions. And they know which "illegal dispensaries" will sell to them as well.

And also believe me when I tell you that educators are deeply (deeply) concerned about what's happening. The amount of consumption during school hours has sky-rocked according to the teachers and counsellors I know.

And also trust me that I want to one in prison for possession. That's insane.

But we have a problem with law enforcement. If we decide not to prosecute marijuana laws entirely, then criminal enterprises (that are out in the open) will (and do) sell to teens.

And teen use is very negative for the brains and life-prospects of young people.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
