(3,022 posts)in his campaign to become the Democratic nominee for President in 2020. I am quite ambivalent about Shawn King he has said things I thought quite profound and things that I have thought moronic. I am loath to be aggressive in my remarks regarding African Americans as I see what could be the dictionary picture of white male privilege when I look in the mirror. That said, antisemitic and homophobic remarks, which is what I am understanding is the case with Sanders' former staffer, should not be acceptable regardless one's own ethnicity.
Trying to delegitimize someone being upset, outraged, or whatever their emotion is because they refuse to couple your outrage to thier's is not reasonable in the least. The former staffer is not something I am going to spend time on sorry if that doesn't suit you. For me the Bloomberg stupidity isn't that important, it's people on DU acting like there isn't a history of white people being in wonder at the sight of an articulate, well spoken, or clean Black Person.
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
