8. From what I have read the lab tech issue was complicated and controversial for sure.

I have not found a detailed response from Harris on this but clearly there were issues with the lab tech. I suspect Harris's problem was the fallout of losing lab evidence for over 600 cases. I feel she was probably on the wrong side of this being more concerned with conviction than with protecting the rights of the person accused.

However, I cannot imagine any DA not having controversial cases like this in their past. I do not hold this against her. Her record as Senator speaks for itself ranked as one of the most progressive during her two years in the Senate.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
