(71,523 posts)we were able to get it through Congress. I find your post disrespectful to all those on our side who gave up their seats in Congress to send help to the American people who desperately needed healthcare. Nancy Pelosi gave up her majority as well. She is a remarkable woman.
It is the only healthcare program that ever passed Congress and became law. It has changed the way Americans view healthcare...now they consider it a right. That is a big fucking deal as a great man once said. M4A will never make it through Congress and those who continue to promote it when it has no chance of passing even the House are only helping the GOP to destroy the ACA...our only healthcare now and for the foreseeable future. We can build on the ACA -provide a public option- and end up with some form of universal healthcare.
If we continue to push MFA, we will in the end lose healthcare as it will destroy the ACA and since we have no way to implement MFA, we will end up with no healthcare.
