If there’s backlash, well, those Bernie supporters whose motto is Bernie or bust were always going to defect if their idol was not nominated.

True progressives, as opposed to cult followers, will vote blue to stop Trump. And although Biden consistently leads the pack, anything can and does happen. If Warren were to pick up, becoming the nominee, she would have also escaped damage from Bernie’s scorched earth campaigning, also benefit from Hilary’s honest evaluation and corral the progressive vote.

Hilary’s assessment helps us far more than it harms. Further, she is a far more popular and accomplished political figure than Bernie whose divisive politicking is more than a meme,
