not something an environmentalist should or would be part of...in one of the great ironies...opponents tried to talk to him at an environmental rally in Vermont 
and were strongly rebuffed...also, there is evidence that Sander profited from this. Jane Sanders served as an alternate commissioner...the term expired in 2019/ We know from the 2014 tax return she still drew a salary in 14 in fact.
So sorry, Sanders supports the environment when it is convenient...and flying off on a private plane to campaign is yet another example of this.
