(67,782 posts)....that Iowa isn't representative of the US. Their largest city has barely 200,000 people - Des Moines is the 101st largest in the country, and the state is 90+ % white. When all is said and done, even if Biden does finish 4th, he'll be no more than about five or six delegates behind the leader.
New Hampshire is even worse - half the population of Iowa, even whiter, and their largest city, Manchester, has only 130,000 people, and is next door to the home state of both Sanders and Warren. Things may change, but Biden is still in second place and Sanders has only one-quarter of the voters in the polls.
No, Biden isn't finished, he's just getting started. By midnight on Super Tuesday he'll have opened a decent lead and will widen it even further a week later.
