If so, then of course I would not be okay with that for any Democrat, because it means Trump would win reelection. OTOH, I would actually not mind if it were the other way around. If Trump won the popular vote but lost the electoral college, he would never shut up about it, and maybe there would finally be enough bipartisan support for getting rid of the electoral college. Yes, it would weaken the new Democratic president a bit in the short term, but Obama won an electoral landslide and a clear majority of the popular vote in 2008 and it didn't stop the Republicans from treating him like he didn't deserve to be there anyway.
