If they cant, they will use a woman has come forward, As VP, the Obama administration did X and Biden Y, any number of moves to destroy his candidacy, no holds barred and lies can sell better than the truth.
Dem voters must weigh risks, a candidates vulnerability to Republican attack, and how their positives might offset, whether a particular line of attack would tend to gain more traction for one candidate versus another, but with the knowledge that no candidate will prove immune, not to
attack or cheating.
Republicans will fight this one to the death. Losing spells death to their party, thus to endless gravy at the trough.
