(7,866 posts)She is spot on in her assessment of economic inequality and her plans are the most detailed, direct, thorough and thoughtful.
However, I feel she is in the campaign bubble and has become almost robotic in her presentation. For example, in the NH debate when asked about investigating Trump if she were elected, she correctly said no one should be above the law. What she didnt (or at least I didnt hear it) say was that Trumps obstruction on Congress leaves the next President no choice, as we dont know what else he has done. She could have emphasized his narcissistic behavior, and list the ways this has played out, such as diverting funds to his businesses and the wall. She could have noted the wall fell down and said given his business history, we need to find out how this was contracted etc....
Instead she pivoted to a canned stump speech about the 1%.... Ive heard it, youve heard it and I bet anyone seeing that debate heard it before. The problem is, saying the same thing, with the same words loses listeners.
Note: I too am frustrated, as I originally supported her.
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
