The amount of candidates doesn't matter -the amount of voters do.
If the turnout is similar (and it appears to be) he's getting half the votes. So either that other half were merely voting for him as "Not Hillary" and weren't supporters to begin with or he's lost support.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
