That would be a faulty assumption. If the primary goal of those moderate voters was to get rid of Trump, they may coalesce behind another moderate candidate instead of Sanders should theirs withdraw, particularly if they believe that Sanders would lose in November.

The race isn't the same as it was a week or two ago.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
