If someone is "pro-life" but is willing to put that aside to support democrats because they agree with the democratic platform on most other issues, then I see little problem with accepting them in. It's up to them to decide if they can set aside their differences on abortion in order to support the democratic party. If they are willing to, then by all means let them do it. Why not? Those relatively few voters are not going sway the overall stance/direction of the democratic party.
