tho there was a sexist corporate culture, i have yet to hear anything about his own behavior that upsets me much. smart ass comments, yeah. assaults? no. sexual misconduct? no.
but many women in high places, and however reluctant, accommodation for new moms. i keep thinking about stephanie ruhle. she has a lot of good things to say about working for him.
likewise unions. the police climate in nyc sounds just about like chicago's. ritchie daley didnt love the police union here, either. not real big on the teachers union either. both sectors had a lot of problems that the unions werent dealing w. bad cops and bad teachers hanging on for years, or given golden parachutes. those things are always contentious, and go to court, and the city takes the opposite stance to the union, and that's how laws work.
and take my word for it, if i was rich, powerful and single, i'd be getting laid at every opportunity. till i hear from some former partners that he was a shit, i'm not going to equate having a lot of sex w being a bad person.
my ears are open. but i havent heard anything yet that puts him on a different plane than most white old men.
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
