In reply to the discussion: Why isn't Mike 'getting it done'? Why no poll yet to get him in the debate? [View all]musicblind
(4,563 posts)19. Ditto.
Plus, he hasn't agreed to CNN's Nevada town hall, either.
He can't hide from questions forever, and we need to see what kind of debater a candidate is before giving them our vote.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

I own my words. Don't you worry your sweet little head about it one more minute.

Indeed. I want to watch Warren and Amy tear him a new one Wednesday. Get that poll out Mike!

This is my feeling too. He gave the DNC oodles of money. He could get a poll if he wanted.

If you knew anything about the qualifying process, you'd realize only certain polls are considersed,

I stand by my OP. If Bloomberg doesn't get a poll, he can't get it done. Or doesn't want scrutiny.

I fully understand what is needed to qualify. I just think he isn't getting it done.

No, Bloomberg cannot create a new qualifying poll out of thin air, no matter how much he spends.

He has already been invited to the debate by the DNC...actually. He has not yet accepted it.

Link? AFAIK, he still needs one more qualifying poll result for eligibility. (n/t)

My mistake...he was invited to the Town Halls by CNN...but did not accept...I doubt he wants to go

I don't think he can "commission" a poll. It has to be a poll the DNC authorizes.

If he did Commision his own, people would instead accuse him of "buying" his way in. nt

If I were him, I'd be more scared of Warren. She has nothing to lose and everything to gain

I don't think he wants to run a conventional campaign. He's not running agains Democrats.

You know that only media polls count, but why not get a cheap shot in while you can?

He's paying most of the media's salary right now, so I guess he could stop a poll?

Watching Kasie Hunt while making dinner. Thumbs down to Bloomberg from Maxine Waters and Liz ...

Because then people that are asking "why not" would then be accusing him of buying polls. nt
