(98,883 posts)If Sanders is the nominee he will get my vote, though according to recentt polls, if Sanders isn't the nominee, 50% of his supporters say they wouldn't vote for the Democratic nominee
Adding the Amy, Biden, and Pete percentages far exceed sanders support, and adding Bloomberg in the mix it is even worse
Liz has falsely been associated with Sanders, but that is based on a false assumption because they share some common views. Big difference is that Liz has detailed how to pay for it, while sanders is pie in the sky. Also, Warren made it very clear that she is NOT a Democratic socialist
Sanders has an enthusiastic base no doubt, but so far among Democrats he has yet to demonstrate that he can move outside his base, and Democratic primaries are not winner take all, but delegates are allocated on a proportional basis, with anyting over 15%
I will be voting on super tuesday in California for whichever candidate i believe can get the Democratic nomination and beat trump
It may not be Biden, but after SC I will be voting for either Amy, Biden, Pete, or Elizabeth, whichever one i feel has the best chance to get the nomination and beat trump
As far as i am concerned, if Sanders gets the nomination we will have 4 more years of trump., but it won't be because of me because i will vote for whoever the Democratic nominee is
Let ask you the question, if Warren doesnt do well in Nevada or SC what should she do?
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
