I agree with much of what you are saying. However, here are a few observations.

The Republicans have been fighting against FDR's policies forever because they consider them to be socialist.

Didn't Bernie State in one of his speeches that " we will save Capitalism from itself."

I would draw your attention to FDR's Second Bill Of Rights that he wanted to implement but did not live to have them considered.

I do not see Brrnie's policies as socialist as you might. I see an effort to strengthen regulations to be more fair to the middle class.

I am a big Joe Biden fan and have been for a long time. I know it sounds contradictory to support both Biden and Sanders. However, it might just lend further support to the idea that I do not consider Bernie as far to the Left as most do.
