One in law school chose the third ranked law school that gave him an acceptance because it was a the school that gave him the largest scholarship, 3 years no tuition. He would have loved to take first choice that accepted him, a top ranked university but he would have been in debt of 300k. Second choice he would have been in debt of 150k. To hear candidates say "free" when he made the responsible choice doesn't sit well.
We also live in blue states and though I do love my blue state and wouldn't live elsewhere, the taxes are incredible. Not making a lot of money I am taxed a lot. I end up paying into state tax even though I declare 0. I do not trust that those of us trying to make it on minimum wage would not be the ones to pay more, too. And we cannot afford month to month living expenses as it is. To pay for all the free stuff will come out of my paycheck too.
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
