Democratic Primaries

(699 posts)74. Bloomberg is no Democrat
Go look up Bloomberg's glowing endorsement of G.W. Bush in 2004. The one where he talks about how great the Republican values are and how G.W. Bush will usher in many years of Republican rule.
Look up his endorsement of Susan Collins in Maine.
It makes me sick that the Democratic party could see an entitled $53+ Billionaire as its "savior" and I suggest we should be seeing the red "danger" signs flashing instead.
Take Bloomberg's entitled personality, power and money then couple that with the current Executive Presidency that the Republicans have put in place and you have a recipe for disaster.
We have great candidates on the stage, minus Bloomberg, and I hope to be able to vote for one of them.
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided

She did well. But she has done well before and the wider world outside DU has not taken to her.

Agreed. But she needs to get a BIG bump out of this for that to remain a possibility

In 1992, Bill Clinton didn't place first in the first, second, third, or fourth primary contests.

She was on point. I was blown away by how smoothly she pivoted from one issue to the next.
