In reply to the discussion: Bernie Haters, what exactly do you not like about his policies? [View all]The Mouth
(3,414 posts)70. I am far far from a 'hater', indeed he's my number two
My only fear is that if the Rethuglicans retain the Senate, they utterly immobilize his agenda and then subsequently proclaim it's a failure. And since historically, the party that does NOT hold the Presidency wins substantially in the House of Representatives, that in 2022 they recover all of Congress and fuck him and us royally.
I kind of fear too many taxes that will, of necessity, hit the 'middle class', of which I am a part. More taxes are fine as long as we get what we are paying for, but more than one revolutionary has won the battle only to lose the war against the corporate kleptocracy that can outlast 'our revolution'.
That said, I love Bernie, I strongly supported him in 2016 right up until he was mathematically eliminated, and, as with Yang and Sen Warren, cherish the IDEAS he brings to the national conversation.
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided

Yes but, in the end, it won't change the fact that Bernie WILL be our next President.

Presidents are more than policies. I don't think he can sell his policies -- but WARREN can.

Its not that anyone hates Bernie, but many hate his derogatory comments about Democrats.
