Explain to someone who is NOT fluent in the nuances of American English, what the negative connotation, and wide eyed fear there is in the following labels?
Socialist.
Liberal.
A lot of countries around the world are socialist. You can tell by the quality of their health care, welfare system for the infirm and old, and the quality of education for the young.
