4. So the Democratic Establishment was protecting Bernie from potential damage?

By sitting on the information that Bernie is being supported by Putin (at least in the primaries), for a month, a week, whatever, saving the Sander's campaign from political embarrassment.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
