Who do you think Bernie is going to alienate? He's winning the youth vote by massive amounts. That was the largest voting block in 2018. He's winning the Latino vote by a lot. He's winning independents. He's doing very well with African Americans. Even Nicolle Wallace, a former Bush staffer and former Republican said she'd gladly vote for Bernie if he's the nominee.
So who do you think won't vote for Bernie? Republicans obviously, and Republican-leaning Independents who don't like being called Republican, but still vote that way. Neither group were going to vote for a Democrat anyway.
Do you realize nothing about Bernie is inherently far-left? We were electing people with Bernie style policies since the late 1920s at least. You would be claiming FDR is way too far left if he were running today, and he's arguably the 3rd best President in history.
