(862 posts)pesky constitution-shredding republicans.. regardless, I understand the thrust of your point. Sanders wouldn't be your choice A or B or C. He and Warren are both my choice A, and I think they both would be positioned well to address the current crisis. Not everybody sees the battlefield that way, and I respect the perspectives of those people, and I don't have a leg to stand on to say that I'm right and they're wrong for the same reason they don't. I'm impressed with Buttigieg. I have been wary of Biden's but thought he performed extremely well in the most recent debate in a way that made me question that assessment.
I think that if all candidates and all their supporters (and let's have some unicorns and shit, because this will not happen) simply campaign on what they are fighting FOR and stick to that, that we end up with a rising tide that actually lifts all boats. When working with a claymore, you want to note which side faces the enemy. The enemy is over there putting kids in actual fucking cages and gutting social services and running his shitty little tv version of the night of the long knives at what is left of the State department.
