(60,853 posts)This means that 4% of the people polled are VERY VERY impressed by Clinton. It says nothing about the remaining 96 %. Note also, she is tied with Melania!
My point is that asking who is your most admired woman is not likely to give any real information on the full distribution of how the entire population views a person. It is possible that there are people further down the list - where fewer say they are the one most admired - who overall have a higher percent of people viewing them favorably.
Note that Trump gets a much higher percent on the male side -- and we KNOW he is seen very unfavorably by over half of the country.
The link to the many polls are not looking at most admired, but at estimates of how the population of US adults views individuals. On those polls, what is clear is that she has more people having an unfavorable impression than a favorable one.
