22. Not quite. There is party affiliation in Texas.

If you affiliate with a party, you can only vote in that party's primary.

If you do not affiliate with a party, you can vote in either primary, but only one. Once you vote in a primary, you are affiliated with that party until the end of that calendar year.

primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
