60. Important question to ask re: electability of a former VP

No Former Democratic VP has been elected President in the past 100 years, maybe ever. (I’m not counting Truman and Johnson, who only faced voters once they were incumbent presidents).

Humphrey lost
Mondale lost
Gore lost (I know, I know...)

Among Republicans, only Nixon and Bush 41 won; Dole lost (I know, he was just a former VP candidate), Quayle didn’t even make it through the Primary...

Being VP is not a guarantee of electability by any means.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
