Alt-Orange's JournalRan into a Dump parade in small town southern Illinois
It was both hilarious and scary at the same time. The traffic was backed up completely out of town, and they made sure to drive through any parking lot they could and honked. And lots of God, Guns, Trump shirts.
I really hate Illinois Nazis.
Rep. Mo Brooks: Democrats Criticism Of GOP Immigration Bills Was Racism
Source: Right Wing Watch
Rep. Mo Brooks of Alabama, who complained earlier this year that criticism of now-Attorney General Jeff Sessions was part of a war on whites, said last month that a Democratic colleagues criticism of a set of GOP anti-immigration bills amounted to racism.
Brooks spoke with Detroit radio host Frank Beckmann on June 29 at a radio row event hosted by the anti-immigration group Federation for American Immigration Reform about comments that Rep. Luis Gutierrez of Illinois had made criticizing a set of anti-immigrant bills that the House passed at the end of June.

A Teenage Rape Survivor in El Salvador Has Been Jailed for 30 Years
Source: Guardian
A teenage rape victim in El Salvador has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for murder after having a stillbirth, the latest in a long line of failures of justice against pregnant women in the Central American country.
Evelyn Beatriz Hernandez Cruz, 19, from a small rural community in Cuscatlán, eastern El Salvador, was convicted on the grounds that failing to seek antenatal care amounted to murder.
Hernandez, who at the time was 18, was in her third trimester, but hadnt realised that she was pregnant. She had been repeatedly raped by a gang member over several months as part of a forced sexual relationship.
Medical experts were unable to ascertain whether the foetus died in utero or in the moments after delivery.

Janet Porter Expects A House Vote On Her Heartbeat Bill By September
http://www.rightwingwatch.org/post/janet-porter-expects-a-house-vote-on-her-heartbeat-bill-by-september/Radical Religious Right activist Janet Porter appeared on Gordon Klingenschmitts Pray In Jesus Name program yesterday to provide an update on the status of the federal version of her Heartbeat Bill, which seeks to ban abortion from the moment a fetal heartbeat can be detected, which can happen as early as six weeks into pregnancy and often before a woman even knows that she is pregnant.
The bill was introduced by Rep. Steve King back in January and Porter has spent the last several months making multiple trips to Washington, D.C., to rally support for what she says will be a foot in the door to completely outlawing abortion. The House bill already has over 100 co-sponsors and Porter reported that we could have a hearing as early as July and a full vote on it by September.
Weve got, I believe, a window right now where we have the opportunity to do more than regulate abortion, do more than defund abortion, she said. We actually have the opportunity to end it in nearly every case for every child whose heartbeat can be heard.
Just thought I'd leave this here. I cannot put into words how much I despise scum like this woman

McConnell Basks in GOP Victory on Courts
http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/mcconnell-basks-in-gop-victory-on-courts/ar-BBCngGh?li=BBnb7KzSenate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Friday that the current vacancies in the U.S. court system will allow President Donald Trump to have the longest impact on the future of the country and vowed to continue to push through his nominees, regardless of any opposition from Democrats.
For years when his party was in the minority, McConnell employed the procedural speed bumps at his disposal to slow the flow of Obamas nominations to the federal court system. When Republicans claimed the majority after the 2014 elections, the flow slowed to a trickle, and the majority leader left dozens of nominees to linger, including Garland.
The left is on war-footing for just about everything these days and that includes the lower courts, he said. They are doing everything they can to tie the Senate in knots. They are forcing procedural hurdles on just about everything.
What a piece of trash. It's always the "evil Left this, the mean left that" with them. They aren't even hiding anymore what their true agenda is.
Texas state rep calls ICE on 'sanctuary city' protesters
http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/texas-state-rep-calls-ice-on-sanctuary-city-protesters/ar-BBBDGEt?li=BBnb7KzTexas state Rep. Matt Rinaldi (R-Irving) and several Democrats reportedly exchanged angry words on the state House floor, according the the Texas Tribune.
Several members said that Rinaldi told a group of Hispanic lawmakers that he had Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials on the protesters.
"He came up to us and said, 'I'm glad I just called ICE to have all these people deported,'" state Rep. Cesar Blanco (D-El Paso) told the Texas Tribune.
Rinaldi said he called ICE because he didn't know how to handle the large protest.
The good people of Texas don't deserve ignorance on this scale
Ben Carson calls poverty a state of mind during interview
http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/ben-carson-calls-poverty-%e2%80%98a-state-of-mind%e2%80%99-during-interview/ar-BBBuGZN?li=BBnb7KzIn an interview released Wednesday, Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson said that a "certain mindset" contributes to people living in poverty, pointing to habits and a "state of mind" that children take from their parents at a young age.
"I think poverty to a large extent is also a state of mind. You take somebody that has the right mindset, you can take everything from them and put them on the street, and I guarantee in a little while they'll be right back up there," he said during an interview on SiriusXM Radio with Armstrong Williams, a longtime friend.
The secretary said that he believes that government can provide a "helping hand" to people looking to climb out of poverty. But he warned against programs that are "sustaining them in a position of poverty. That's not helpful."
