About Board_Commentary

Hello, I work at a prominent technology company owned by the wolves of Wall Steet. I am soon becoming a full time student and intend to get a Masters in Public Administration. My dream is to be a city manager for small or rural communities. Although I like my job it is time so they say, to roll on. I originally found this board in in early 2003, and lurked until I joined just before the election in 2004. I posted under a different username for 7 years and found the place as a refuge from the right wing in my home state. Eventually I left, as the board was becoming more like free republic than the DU of 2004. I was so disgusted that I even left the Democratic Party and Joined the Greens. I ended up lurking DU anyways as a news-agrogator and refuge since I lived in a state where racism and other odious beliefs is almost de`jour. Well, the Greens got banished this year by the Republican Secretary of State. So I am now happily a Democrat again. I feel just as at home either way as my move was in protest to this board`s rightward creep and I never really stopped lurking. I have found in the last 6 weeks that the creep is starting to rebound. Yes they are still here and just as vile and disgusting as in 2011; though, I now see that I am not alone. That I make up a voice in the majority on this board. That the poxes I set on those has matured into obvious disgusting lesions of bad character; present to anyone who reads the posts they pontificate from. That they find themselves clamoring over each others toe headed and rehearsed copy-pasted defense of nuanced racism, provincialism and NRA `gun rights` as defined by fox news. Now that I am back, I intend to do what I normally do, I will lurk to gather commentary and chain smoke cigarettes in irate meditation. Now that I have a new stylus and pen, and fancy my self a crappy artist, I intend to make Board Commentary. My focus will be current events with in the community as well as commentary on the view points, opinions and their authors; presented here as a microcosm of niche opportunity to amuse, elate, and lulz the mob.
