Are a National Security Threat... According to the guy who gave a lap-dance to Putin early in his first term, then gave him everything he wanted. Then filled his Cabinet with people whose only qualifications were the aroma of his ass on their breath and no concept of their real job description. They then initiated a "Good-Cop"-Bad-Cop with Ukraine to tag-team them into a corner and extort them of their wealth in what doesn't even pretend to be a "protection racket", since he has no intention of "protecting" them and once he gets the loot, he'll be gone with only his stench as a grim reminder. At this rate, by Christmas the Ukraine issue will be settled... they'll be Russians again, the US will have their strategic materials. Putin will make gestures toward Greenland, forcing the US to move in to "protect" Greenland. Another lap-dance, then off to put the squeeze on some other low-hanging country with something we need. By then, China will need some "help" convincing Taiwan they need to seek the shelter of China, and maybe their tech sector might be a good ransom if the US is feeling generous. In any case, there is only one China in the end. BTW: it's not personal... It's just business. So, you can see why Employee Unions are a National Security Threat.

I keep harping that Government is NOT Business... Business is NOT Government and... Religion is NEITHER! So....... It's no surprise when Business and Religious People CANNOT make Government work for the PEOPLE. When we combine Business, Religion and Government with the Military, we then have the necessary ingredients for Fascism. It's kind-of the definition. Or just a cake?
Business exists solely to make... Money.
Government exists to provide security and stability.
Religion exists to explain Metaphysical meaningfulness.
All three are mutually exclusive in their goals and applications, yet essential to Society while operating in their respective lanes.
The overlaps in a Venn Diagram for this would show where corruption and abuse will sooner or later appear, based on the past.
The skill-sets required for each are often wildly inappropriate when applied cross-genre.
Disdain for expertise and experience, quality and qualifications doesn't inspire confidence in successful outcomes.
Appointing staff without experience in their jobs outside Business, Religion, or the Military makes what was a low bar into a chasm.
Little hope for successful outcomes proves Government doesn't work. Right?

Hegseth needs to be drug/alcohol tested each day.
Guys who work on job-sites are subject to random drug testing. If you trip or fall off a ladder, you are immediately tested to determine if your potential impairment contributed to your mishap. If you have a history of drug/or alcohol use, you are moved to the front of the line for testing (likely daily), to prove that your problem is not the company's problem. This guy has the second-most sensitive job in the world. How about it, Corporate America? Are you going to speak up about a National Security Risk? Or just kick back and wait for next time? Think about it... if he was in charge of your most sensitive operations, would you trust him? Get Real.
Where is our Front-Line Defense??????????
I would like to know where are Barack, Kamala, Joe, Bill, and Hillary and the rest of the front bench with knowledge of the Constitution and the workings of the federal government, and particularly the Judiciary? Can we get a meeting, and maybe spit-ball some ideas to slow the roll here and form a plan and build a team to identify if and how to bring the Constitution to bear on these abuses (PLEASE, GOD, tell me this is abuse of the Constitution) and get us out of this mess? Or are we going at this with only "thoughts and prayers"? Failing that, are we on-our-own?

Of having to pretend to be "exceptional". Lets hobble and limit the research and development that made us leaders in innovation. These latest moves come after a concerted effort to make Education more costly to students, as if culling the available student population to well-to-do will somehow produce a better result. Also... you can't trust people who are smarter than you are.
The " Simplification" of Walter Miller's "A Canticle For Liebowitz", carried out by roaming bands of "Simpletons" burned whatever written word was found, and murdered anyone thought to be harboring any scientific knowledge to prevent a repeat of the Nuclear Holocaust. "Good Morning, Good Simpleton". A quick read, and a good one from the 50's and it's cold war angst.

It must really sting that Ukraine is in this shit-storm arguably because they TRUSTED the US and UK to stand behind them and be steadfast allies if they agreed to give up their Nuclear weapons in the interest of Peace. And to be mugged from behind by a Traitorous Bully with petty vengeance for an excuse is an actual crime. Blaming Zelenskyy for WWIII is real dark brown hubris. Dotus has already started it. Presumably the media will tell us how it turned out.
