Racist speech allegedly hurled at Beloit basketball team during playoffs

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Leaders from two school districts are investigating allegations of racist speech towards basketball players from Beloit Memorial High School.

The boy’s basketball team was at Muskego High School for a playoff game Friday night when “some unacceptable actions transpired,” Beloit Superintendent Dr. Willie E. Garrison II wrote in a note to staff and families.

He described written racial slurs and “unsportsmanlike phrases being chanted.”

Concerned community members sent NBC15 photos of the N-word and swastikas drawn on top of lockers. Jason Lopez, a parent of an athlete, said he heard monkey noises and racist words from the student section at the game.

Gun-toting conservative media darling Kyle Rittenhouse has taken to Christian crowdfunding platform GiveSendGo to announce that he’s broke. In a tweet Wednesday, Rittenhouse, 20, said the “legal bills are piling up” as he battles a wrongful death lawsuit in the killing of Anthony Huber—one of three people he shot during protests in the wake of the police shooting of Jacob Blake in August 2020.

I'm thinking they could wheel sleeping Cheato into one of those situations where he could watch Fox and friends fake his reality surrounded by an alternate white house where he thinks he's still president.

I was taught about Gen. Butler and his two medals of honor.

The Marines hold Gen. Lewis B. "Chesty" Puller in higher regard, naming their mascot bulldogs after him and such.

I can't say for sure, but I suspect that the corps doesn't name their mascots "Smedley" is an attempt to partially marginalize the type of man and marine Butler was. I don't write this to in any way to diminish Gen. Puller.

Maybe someone better in the know could fill me in. That would be appreciated.
