About Dr.Bluebird42

I'm in higher education in the deepest of the deep south. While I often have to keep my true views under wraps among some people here (to avoid, say, being chased out of town by a torch-bearing mob), there are more of us here than you might think. I USED to live in ATL. I want my state to follow in GA's footsteps. I donate and I volunteer. I encourage my students to think critically, to require evidence for their beliefs, and to adhere to a solid code of ethics. Subversive, no? The last four years have been absolute hell. I've been exhausted, horrified, enraged, and depressed almost daily by each new low.
