More than a dozen survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse have accused Melania Trump of “shifting the burden” on to them after she called on Congress to hold public hearings with victims of Epstein’s abuse.

“Survivors of Jeffrey Epstein have already shown extraordinary courage by coming forward, filing reports, and giving testimony,” said a group of 13 people and the brother and sister of the late Virginia Giuffre, who was one of the most vocal Epstein accusers, in a statement. “Asking more of them now is a deflection of responsibility not justice.”

Their response came after the first lady delivered a surprise statement in which she denied she ever had a relationship with Epstein and his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell. She also said that she was not a victim of Epstein, had no knowledge of his crimes, and that the late convicted sex offender did not introduce her to her husband, Donald Trump".........

ICE whistleblower shares insight into training at Georgia facility

"New Immigration and Customs Enforcement cadets are being instructed to violate the constitution, a former lawyer with the agency said before members of Congress this week.

The ICE whistleblower, identified as Ryan Schwank, a former attorney with the agency and someone who was assigned to teach cadets, spoke in front of lawmakers investigating possible DHS misconduct.

Schwank joined ICE in 2021, but resigned Feb. 13 after he was assigned to a training facility in Glynco, Georgia.
What did the ICE whistleblower say?

"The ICE academy is deficient, defective, and broken," Schwank told lawmakers on Feb. 23. "On my first day, I received secretive orders to teach new cadets to violate the Constitution by entering homes without a judicial warrant."

Schwank went on to reaffirm Homeland Security has cut down training time for new recruits and fully eliminated use of force trainings, while doubling down on agents not needing a warrant to enter someone's home, even as two U.S. citizens were shot and killed in Minneapolis, and a third was killed during a car chase in Savannah, Georgia.

"Never in my career had I ever received such a blatantly unlawful order, nor one conveyed in such a troubling manner," Schwank testified. "Incredibly, I was being shown this memo in secret by my supervisor, who made sure that I understood that disobedience could cost me my job."........

Kristi Noem Exposed for Inventing Bonkers Cannibal Deportation Story

Surprise, surprise: Homeland Security Kristi Noem completely made up that far-fetched story about deporting a cannibal, multiple federal law enforcement officials told The Intercept.

Speaking to Fox News’s Jesse Watters in June, Noem recounted a terrible tale she claimed to have heard from a U.S. air marshal about a cannibal who tried to “eat his own arms” while being deported out of the country. Noem later repeated the story as she and Donald Trump toured “Alligator Alcatraz,” the president’s wetland-themed concentration camp in the Florida Everglades.

At the time, the Department of Homeland Security and ICE wouldn’t respond to requests to confirm Noem’s story. Now multiple federal law enforcement officials—including one from the DHS—are saying it’s a lie, The Intercept reported Monday.......
