Betty White's name will live forever

No, I'm not just talking about the late, lamented actress, singer, comedienne, game show panelist, zoophilist, patriot* and civil rights fighter*, who at the age of 99 years, 11 months, and 15 days still left the rest of us feeling short-changed that she will never grace our televisions with new material. I'm talking about how her name itself will live forever:

Every time a cop is criminally negligent in his/her task, but is let off with a warning (or apology for being questioned), you'll hear her name.

Every time a cop roughs up a bunch of kids, but not held responsible, you'll hear her name.

Every time a cop shoots into a car without knowing who is in it, or why it was stopped, and nothing comes of it, you'll hear her name.

And every time you hear of a mass-murderer being brought in alive, unharmed, and occasionally fed on his way to be processed, you can bet somewhere someone is accurately saying:
"Betty White."
