Homegrown Right-wing Terrorists

http://crooksandliars.com/susie-madrak/military-militia-was-plotting-blow-da

In my e-book, I write of a fictional terrorist group called RAMPAGE (Revolutionary American Militant Patriots Against Government Enslavement). I used "Over the Cliff: How Obama's Election Drove the American Right Insane" by John Amato and David Neiwert as a reference. The Crooks and Liars bloggers named names and brought light to this subject that the RNC doesn't like to acknowledge. Although these villains were intended to be an exaggerated version of real homegrown right-wing extremists, it seems my portrayal of their fanaticism is becoming more true than I realized. From the Associated Press…

LUDOWICI, Ga. — Four Army soldiers based in southeast Georgia killed a former comrade and his girlfriend to protect an anarchist militia group they formed that stockpiled assault weapons and plotted a range of anti-government attacks, prosecutors told a judge Monday.

Prosecutors in rural Long County, near the sprawling Army post Fort Stewart, said the militia group of active and former U.S. military members spent at least $87,000 buying guns and bomb components. They allege the group was serious enough to kill two people — former soldier Michael Roark and his 17-year-old girlfriend, Tiffany York — by shooting them in the woods last December in order to keep its plans secret.

“This domestic terrorist organization did not simply plan and talk,” prosecutor Isabel Pauley told a Superior Court judge. “Prior to the murders in this case, the group took action. Evidence shows the group possessed the knowledge, means and motive to carry out their plans.”

Obama's inevitable reelection will result in more attacks by these radicals. Let us hope law enforcement stops them before they carry out their insane plans to burn America to save it.

Ayn Rand's philosophy- an excuse to be a sociopath.

In my newest eBook "This God, I," the antagonist is obsessed with Ayn Rand's Objectivism and wants to force it onto the world. After studying this ideology for years, I've come to the conclusion that Objectivism is nothing but a well-reasoned, compelling excuse to be a sociopath.

The atheistic ideology creates the narrative of a world where everyone is boring, mediocre and worthless (the 99%), except for a select few who innovate and drive the gears of industry (the 1%). The mediocre losers are jealous of the good people and seek to destroy them by forcing them to conform and be worthless like they are, but the Howard Rourkes and John Galts win by being individualists and caring only for their own success.

Remember Rick Santelli, the CNBC market analyst who started the Tea Party with his infamous rant? Remember how he called homeowners who lost their houses in the crash "the losers?" It perfectly reveals the mentality of the Objectivists. The bankers who caused the crisis are not at fault because they are rich, and therefore good and deserve it, but the people who failed... it's all their fault for being the mediocre losers.

Rand herself was inspired by William Hickman, a serial killer who dismembered a little girl. She admired Hickman for doing something society didn't approve of, and she thought everyone else hated him because he dared to challenge them and wouldn't conform. She was like the women who marry imprisoned murderers, but she went a step further and made a religion out of it.

Alan Greenspan was a member of her club, the Collective (also covered in the book), and he brought her ideas to the Federal Reserve. They deregulated the banks to serve the rich and look what happened. Now, a candidate for vice-president seeks to implement her social-darwinist ideology on America again. God help us if Romney-Ryan-Rand is allowed to put the American worker in a stranglehold.

This God, I (progressive-inspired political action-thriller)

Damian Chillingworth, a telekinetic political extremist, has kidnapped his half-sister Michiko and plans to use her mind-controlling abilities to force his ideology on the world. Unfortunately for him, he crossed the electrokinetic superhero Chikara Kaminari, and now it’s payback time. Joined by the empathic Renka and the dark-controlling Gen, Chikara journeys to the United States to rescue Michiko and foil Chillingworth’s diabolical plot.

Along the way, Chikara and her friends encounter a dangerous cell of homegrown terrorists called RAMPAGE (Revolutionary American Militant Patriots Against Government Enslavement). This militia of neo-nazis, white supremacists and anti-government fanatics will stop at nothing to bring down the public sector, and only the three heroes can stop them before their war on the state claims innocent lives.

The world’s future hangs in the balance as Chillingworth gathers Earth’s most powerful leaders into his trap. The heroes race to stop him, but the conservative Chikara and the socialist Gen have very different definitions of the term “save the world.” The three must put aside their disagreements and work together before America’s most extreme ideologues tear the world apart.

It has everything DUers love: mockery of the religious right, the tea party, right-wing pundits and the media machine of the rich, pro-choice advocacy, a debunking of Objectivism and hardcore action. Available on...
